Christine Carol: MHFA England Instructor for MHFA Youth, Schools, Lite, Adult Lite and Armed Forces

Christine Carol has been delivering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for two years and has delivered to groups representing many sectors including: professionals and volunteers within Educational and Support Services, Youth and Social Work and Family Support, Schools and Colleges.

In addition to working for MHFA, for the past 5 years, Christine has been working as a Project Coordinator and Support Worker/Mentor within the third sector, for a project which works with young people experiencing mental health distress and uses outdoor activities as part of their recovery journey. Mental Health First Aid training has been invaluable within this role.

Christine has a strong and diverse professional background in vocational education, coaching, mentoring and business management. She was also a carer for many years for a family member with mental ill health, which sparked her passion.

This has been an excellent course and would be invaluable for all heads of departments in schools

Christine is now working in partnership with The Project to deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid to schools, colleges and other community settings.
